There was a slight leak which is fixed.
Everything is generally dried out. I want to paint now, however, the wall feels slightly damp to the touch, sheet rock is not damaged. If I paint it with water base paint, will the wall dry as the paint dries? I do not want the sheet rock to deteriorate or mold to form.

I know doc would use an electric pen to burn a hole in your nail to drain the blood and ease the pressure built up under your nail if bruised. I’m just wondering what’s the worst that could happen if you try it yourself at home but with the closest alternative like a needle with the point made fiery-red by a lighter or match? Of course being cautious is common sense, like trying to not let it touch the flesh below the nail.
