My natural hair color is medium brown. Last year, I went to my hair dresser and colored it red for a drastic change. Since then, I’ve used color out of a box and I’ve been back to my stylist once. I am trying to get it back to brown, but every color that I use or my stylist uses goes back to red after a few weeks.I don’t want to keep coloring it every few weeks. She told me that the only way to get it back to its natural color is to bleach it and then color it. Is this the only way besides letting it grow and cutting it? My hair is pretty long and I don’t want to cut it and it looks really bad letting it grow on its own. Is the bleaching and coloring something I can do on my own or should I go to a stylist? Is there anything that will just take all of the color out and take it back to its natural color? Thanks.
