Have you ever tried Nail Tek polish treatment?
I removed my solar acrylic nails two weeks ago, and bought the Nail Tek polish they use at the salon to help with my soft, brittle nails due to the acrylic. Everytime I put it on, the ends of my fingers bur really really bad. It feels like they are almost numb, yet there is a constant burning sensation. It usually lasts for about 10 minutes then disappears. Has this happened to anyone else who’s used this product – if so, any ideas on what causes it?
I’ve never heard of Nail Tek having those kind of effects, but it could possibly be because your natural nails are so thin. There could also be something in the product that you are allergic to. I would suggest asking someone at the salon where you bought it or going online to see if you can find any other information. In the mean time, I would hold off on using it until you find out why it’s doing that. If you want to try a good product that doesn’t cost a lot, try Sally Hansen Maximum Growth. It works really good. There is a phase 1 and 2. Also, try to keep your cuticles moisturized with oil – it helps with nail growth.
